Account information: Name, email address, and password hash when you create an account.

Project data: Home details, renovation projects, tasks, budgets, photos, and documents you upload.

Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns to improve the Service. Collected via Google Analytics (GA4).

Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate AI-powered cost estimates and recommendations based on your project data
• To process payments via Stripe
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, billing receipts)
• To analyze usage patterns and improve the product

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers hosted by Neon (PostgreSQL) and Vercel. All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. We use industry-standard security practices including bcrypt password hashing, session-based authentication, and regular security updates.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all personal data and project data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated analytics data may be retained.

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data at any time through the app
• Export your data in a portable format via Settings
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Correct inaccurate information in your profile
• Opt out of marketing communications

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use Google Analytics cookies for anonymous usage tracking. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
